It is recommended that patients remove their overlock dentures before going to bed to allow their gums sufficient rest. At least seven to eight hours of rest per day helps maintain oral health.

Yes, dentures need regular maintenance and checkups to ensure their proper function and lifespan.

How long can dentures be used?

The lifespan of dentures varies depending on the type, material, maintenance habits, and oral condition. Removable dentures generally last about 3 to 7 years, while fixed dentures (bridges) can last about 5 to 10 years.


How to clean and maintain dentures?

For cleaning and maintenance, it is recommended to use a toothbrush with bristles of medium firmness to carefully clean overlock dentures. In addition, besides soaking denture cleaning tablets, dentures should be soaked in room temperature water after cleaning to prevent them from drying out and warping.
