Scope of Dental Services for the Elderly under the Care Fund
The Caring Fund's "Elderly Dental Services Subsidy" scheme provides subsidies for a range of dental services to low-income and eligible elderly individuals in need, including: dentures and other dental services related to dentures, oral examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, X-rays, removal of bridges or crowns, and root canal treatment. This scheme is specifically designed for seniors aged 60 and above to help them access necessary dental care.
The Elderly Dental Services provided by the Care Fund include
- Oral examination

Qualified persons
Applicants must meet one of the following conditions
People aged 65 or older who are currently receiving the "Older Persons' Living Allowance"
Those aged 60 or above who are receiving home care services funded by the Social Welfare Department
Seniors aged 75 or older who have never benefited from this program, or who benefited five years or more ago.
Having dental problems or losing some teeth that affect daily eating, and being willing to undergo dental treatment.

Please note: After your initial dental appointment, you will not be scheduled with another dentist participating in the program. Simply put, you cannot change your primary dentist once you begin treatment. Please take your time to choose a caring dental clinic that suits your needs.

Common Dental Issues for Seniors (Care Fund)
All-On-4 full-mouth dental implants refer to the use of four implants in each of the upper and lower jaws to support a full-mouth artificial dental bridge. Two of the implants are inserted at an angle to provide more stable support. This technique is similar to the mechanical design principle of bridge construction, which makes the force evenly distributed.
Our Care Foundation Dental Clinic is committed to shortening the waiting time for subsidized dental services for the elderly. Therefore, we will arrange appropriate dental services for seniors as quickly as possible to ensure they receive timely care. After application, the dental clinic or service provider will arrange a dental assessment to determine if you are a suitable candidate for dentures or other dental services.
- Original Hong Kong identity card
- Documents showing the amount of "Elderly Living Allowance" deposited into your bank account for the past three consecutive months (bank passbook or bank statement, etc.).
- Documents containing an address (such as utility bills, government correspondence, etc.)

Each recipient can receive up to HK$8,765 The funding includes:
- Consultation service fee: HK$450
- Denture treatment fee: HK$7,315
- Other dental treatment fees: HK$950
- Registration and inspection fee: HK$50
