Teeth Whitening
Tooth color naturally changes over time, with teeth getting darker with increasing age. A number of things can also cause teeth to become stained and discolored, such as smoking, drinking tea or coffee, or certain foods. While teeth whitening is an effective and safe treatment to lighten the shade of your teeth without removing any of the protective enamel from the surface. There are two types of whitening methods:
Home Bleaching
The dentist will tailor-made a set of trays for your teeth, then you can apply the bleach into those trays to whiten your teeth at home by yourself.
Blue LED Light Teeth Whitening
The dentist will apply the whitening gel onto your teeth and be activated by laser light for around an hour. Whitening is not a one-time procedure. It will need to be repeated from time to time if you want to maintain a brighter color.
Before proceeding with any teeth whitening treatment, patients should undergo a detailed examination by a dentist to assess their suitability for a teeth bleaching treatment.
